  • Payment Information – not directly collected or stored by Offaly Pet Sitting Limited, only used by third parties for payment processing (See section 7)

 

Most data is collected on initial contact, either through our website, Facebook pages or via telephone when we are contacted by potential clients. Further personal data is then collected in person when we meet with potential clients, as this data is required and necessary in order to enter into a contract and allow us to provide the pet care services that are requested by you the client.

 

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

  • Providing our pet sitting services at your home address

  • Personal details are required for entering a service agreement contract between you and Offaly Pet Sitting Limited

  • Personalised client account set-up online using Pet Sitter Plus Software, for booking services and invoicing purposes

 

The website of Offaly Pet Sitting Limited contains information that enables a quick electronic direct communication with us, which also includes a general address of the so-called electronic mail (e-mail address). If a data subject contacts the controller by e-mail or via a contact form, the personal data transmitted by the data subject are automatically stored. Such personal data transmitted on a voluntary basis by a data subject to the data controller are stored for the purpose of processing or contacting the data subject.

Personal data may be shared with the following third parties in order to supply services to you on our behalf, for example payment processing. In some cases these third parties may require access to some or all of your personal data we hold.

 

  • Pet Software Ltd - Offaly Pet Sitting Limited uses Pet Sitter Plus Software through Pet Software Ltd to store personal client data for online access. Clients may choose to store credit card details on their account, but it is not a requirement by Offaly Pet Sitting Limited. Your personal data will not be shared with any other third party business, unless required to do so by law. We will not use your personal information for any marketing purposes or send any unlawful marketing or spam.

 

 

8) How and where do we store and process personal data?

 

All information you provide to us is stored locally on our secure servers and (in the case of payment information) with Pet Sitters Plus secure software. Data records are kept in our secure home office under lock & key with no connection between the client (name or address) and keys. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

Where you have chosen a password to access certain parts of our site and Pet Sitters Plus Client access portal, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent un-authorised access.

 

 

9) How long do we keep your personal data for?

 

Offaly Pet Sitting Limited will not keep your personal data for any longer than is reasonably necessary to allow us to provide the services that are requested, and will be deleted from our client database.

 

Your personal data including name, address, contact details, pet details & home access details will be kept for 3 years from ceasing services.

 

Comments on social media or website blog will be kept as long as article is still active.

 

 

10) Your Rights

You have rights to your data, which we respect and will always work to uphold to the best of our ability. You may manage your consent or withdraw consent with us by contacting Offaly Pet Sitting Limited at anytime.
